Terms of membership

These terms are a contract between you and Nomad Home, a Canadian company (“we”, “us”). Nomad Home is the seller, merchant of record and data controller for memberships. Payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf.

This website is hosted and operated on our behalf by Uncanny Labs (info@uncannylabs.ai), which acts as our technical service provider and data processor and is not a party to this membership agreement.

Google Maps

Nomad Home includes Google Maps features and content. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current versions of the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Place photos, reviews, ratings, opening hours and other place details marked “Google Maps” are provided live by Google and are not created, checked or controlled by Nomad Home.

We may suspend Google Maps features if needed to stay within Google’s terms, including for use from prohibited territories.

Membership

Paid membership is a recurring subscription. It renews until you cancel in the Stripe customer portal. Prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes where Stripe calculates them. Digital membership access begins as soon as payment succeeds.

Content

Titles, notes, ratings and photos on place pages are Nomad Home’s own editorial content unless marked as Google Maps. Do not copy Google reviews or names into notes. We may remove content that infringes rights or Google’s rules.

Acceptable use

You will not scrape the map or store Google Maps content, share your login, or use the service in a Google Maps prohibited territory (including China, Crimea, Cuba, Donetsk, Luhansk, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Vietnam) as a way to market or distribute this application.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or Google’s end-user terms.
